About Me

I have been writing professionally since 2003 and have been published in both print and online.  I am available to write for your blog, website or magazine and my rates are highly competitive.  Naturally as a writer, I take pleasure in researching any subject you may wish me to work on, but I do have particular areas of expertise where I can write informed pieces without extensive prior research.  These include:

– Technology.

My continued work for a major mobile phone retailer has given me superb knowledge of the global mobile market and my previous retail experience in the sector provides some historical knowledge too.  In addition to mobile phones, I am experienced in the video gaming, computer and home cinema industries too.

- Automotive.

Cars are a passion of mine and my knowledge and experience of the European market is excellent.  Whether it’s road tests, opinion or fun list-based articles, I pride myself on being able to write intelligently and amusingly on anything with four wheels.  I run my own blog, www.onehundredhp.com, which is a long term test of a new car.

– Travel.

Having spent a year working for Kuoni Travel in the UK as editor for their consumer magazine, I gained considerable knowledge on long haul destinations.  Since turning freelance I have written hotel reviews, destination overviews and more specialised pieces, mainly on Greece.

– Formula One.

As an extension of my love of cars, I am also a Formula One expert.  I have been running my own F1 blog, www.F1pitbox.com for a while and enjoy writing ‘column’ style opinion pieces rather than re-hashing news which is readily available elsewhere.

– Cinema.

My love of all things film-related gives me the ability to write on almost any cinematic subject.  Like my other specialist areas, I am an accomplished movie reviewer, especially for DVDs.  I will watch most things, but I have a greater insight into cult, horror, sci-fi, action, exploitation and indie film.  Please see my cinema page for more details.

-Creative.

I am a writer for the murder mystery games company, Dinner and a Murder, where I have created many scenarios, characters and devious plots!  I have also written scripts, one of which is currently with a production company and looking for financiers, and short stories.

I am open to all opportunities to write on these subjects.  I am prompt and have no problems meeting deadlines, I communicate well with my contacts and always tailor my work exactly to your liking.  You will find me a pleasant and professional individual who looks at building long-term relationships with his employers.
